Have you tried editing /etc/xdg/lubuntu/lxdm/lxdm.conf instead?

sudo gedit /etc/xdg/lubuntu/lxdm/lxdm.conf
Uncomment # numlock=0 and make it numlock=1

Worked for me :)


from lubuntu 18.04 

 sudo apt-get install numlockx
echo "/usr/bin/numlockx on" >> /etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu/autostart

sonst einschlaten wenn numlockx installiert ist : /usr/bin/numlockx on

Kontrolle nano /etc/xdg/lxsession/Lubuntu/autostart
